Description:Sundance is an all Volunteer, not-for-profit organization providing at-cost, non-competitive outdoor activities for LGBT people in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut tristate region. Over 100 outings per year are led by members. Established in 1980, we go hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, boating, horseback riding, skiing, skating, camping, and backpacking. We also organize metro events (within New York City), and extended treks, including international vacation trips.

After months of pressure from an anti-gay-marriage group, McDonald's Corp. has given up a director's seat and will stop sponsorship of a national gay business organization. Richard Ellis, who until last month was vice president of communications of McDonald's USA, has resigned from the board of directors of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, franchisees were told in a Sept. 23 memo.
